Gemma & Rob, what can I say? It felt like we were instant friends. We'd chatted on the phone when they booked me in, however we decided to grab pizza before the shoot in Millgrove and it was just perfect. These two are such creative and adventurous souls, I definitely drooled over the many stories of their travels in America in an RV. Along with that these two love to brew, bake and get back to the basics in their life at home, I loved learning about their expeditions of making their own kombucha and love for brewed beer. Two humans you could never tire of listening to. And with clear skies and full bellies we headed to this trail in the Yarra Valley for their session.

Gemma was inspired to do a couple session with when she discovered that her and Rob had next to no photos together, despite their many years of dating. The funny thing being is that they are both in the media field and take lots of photos on their travels, yet lacked many of their own together. Having another creatives book you to do a session is always the highest compliment & I was so bloody excited when these two reached out.

We explored the forest and the fields, accompanied by many stories of Rob's at home brew adventures, a few bottles of kombucha and the very essential sour patch kids (a favourite of Gemma + Rob's, and of course myself)
