Grace and James had an emotional Autumn Melbourne wedding back in 2020 when restrictions eased after Victorias second COVID lockdown. There was lots of hesitation about how their day would turn out, but just a month before their day our cases began to ease and we were practically COVID free.
This day was incredibly special for everyone there. Grace and James give out to their community so much more than they receive and these photos just show an abundance of their friends and family wanting to come to celebrate and shower love on these two people who are always loving on others. Honestly, normally when I know a wedding is going to be this big, I don't expect everyone to be that close with the couple, but when I looked around the room that night, it was clear the connection and impact these two have had on each person.
Grace and James met years ago in high school, spending many years as friends, until Jame finally managed to get himself out of the friend-zone! When it came to proposing, Grace is heavily involved in the dance community and on the night of an event she helped organise, distracted and unaware of his plan, James brought her onto the stage and asked her to marry him in front of hundreds of people, she said yes (duh).
